It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #IMWAYR 25/6/18

It’s Monday again. This last week seems to have flown!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading next. This is a terrific meme that allows you to meet fellow bookworms and find new books to add to your ever-growing reading wish list.

I first spotted this weekly meme on Reading Between The Pages, although it is actually hosted by The Book Date.

What I read last week:

The Language of Kindness, by Christie Watson

I really enjoyed this medical memoir. Christie worked in Children’s nursing for most of her career, but the book also covers other nursing she did in her training, including mental health and the elderly. She also covers specialist cancer nursing, which got to me for obvious reasons.

What I’m currently reading:

Thin Ice, by Quentin Bates

I suddenly realised it’s my Euro Crime book club meeting this week and I hadn’t read the book. Oops! I’m also still reading my two grief books mentioned last week.

What I plan to read next:

Hospital Babylon, by Imogen Edwards-Jones

Still planning on reading this one, although I’m doing a lot of mood reading at the minute!

Have you read any of these? Are you a planner or a mood reader?
