WWW Wednesday 17th March 2021

Hello everyone

We’re halfway through March, with the end of lockdown in sight at last. Time for another week in books post.

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. It’s open for anyone to join in and is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading.

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading (or give up on)?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

Crime Stories from “The Strand”, by various authors – I’m now two thirds through this – should finish it early next week.

A Long Night in Paris, by Dov Alfon – Only a couple of chapters in, but its interesting.

What did I recently finish?

The Unquiet Dead, by Ausma Zehanat Khan – I was very moved by this book.

The Hog’s Back Mystery, by Freeman Wills Crofts – An enjoyable Golden Age crime.

He’s Gone, by Alex Clare – An unusual book, but one that was missing something for me.

What do I think I’ll read next?

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, by Arthur Conan Doyle – My next short story collection.

Ordeal by Innocence, by Agatha Christie – My Christie pick for this month.

Happy reading!
